All-campus meeting to address master planning process

Purdue's master planning consultants will provide an update on the status of the West Lafayette campus master planning process during a meeting at 6:30 p.m. today (Dec. 4) in Room 310, Stewart Center.

The meeting is open to all in the campus community.

Sasaki Associates of Watertown, Mass., and Scholer Corporation of Lafayette will present progress on Phase Two (Campus Alternatives) at this all-campus meeting.

In addition, the meeting will provide an opportunity for the campus community to participate in the Campus Planning Strategic Planning Tiger Team Open Forum.

Phase One (Campus Inventory and Analysis) of the three-phase process was completed last spring.

The third and final phase of the master plan process is expected to be completed in spring 2008.

The updated master plan will encourage sustainable and accessible design; strengthen pedestrian orientation; enhance the campus landscape; accommodate parking needs and anticipate, plan for and guide campus growth and development.
