Purdue's Tarkington Hall elects leadership
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Seven students were elected as senators in the Halberdier Club at Purdue University's Tarkington Residence Hall.
As Tarkington Hall's governing body, the club is responsible for using student fees to administer hall improvements and programming. Candidates for the senate must gather signatures from 50 fellow residents.
"The club helps students develop their leadership abilities and gain life experiences outside the classroom," said Sheryl Hodson, residential life manager at Tarkington Hall.
