Corea, who plays the piano, electric piano and synthesizer, is also a composer-arranger, and has made a four-decade career playing jazz, fusion and classical music. He earned recognition playing and touring with Miles Davis. Touchstone will combine piano, drums, bass, saxophone and percussion, and will also feature a flamenco dancer.

The National Endowment recently named Corea Jazz Master for the Arts. The Jazz Master honors represent an array of styles and instruments, and are selected based on contributions to the development and performance of jazz.

Chick Corea and Touchstone is presented by Purdue Convocations. Ticket prices range from $26 to $34 and are available at campus box offices or by phone at (765) 494-3933 or (800) 914-SHOW. Tickets are also available at all Ticketmaster outlets.
