Breed said the performance will go on as a memorial to Henderson. The Carnegie Hall program will include the "Airborne Symphony," written between 1943-44 for male choruses by American composer Marc Blitzstein. The program also will include music by Glenn Miller and Cole Porter. The guest conductor will be Rob Fisher, a conductor and pianist whose specialty is conducting classic musical theater. This is the second time the Purdue Varsity Glee Club has performed in Carnegie Hall in the past three years. They represent Purdue on tour throughout the year around the country. Past performances include national television programs, five presidential inaugurations, and national and international performances and events.
