West Lafayette, Ind. - November 3, 2005 - Griffin Analytical Technologies Inc., an emerging leader in next-generation chemical detection and identification systems, today announced the hiring of Bob Kibler to the position of vice president sales and marketing. "Bob Kibler brings close to 30 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership for companies involved in the business and science of chemical analysis," said Dennis Barket, Griffin Analytical's CEO and co-founder. "Griffin will be able to leverage Bob's deep market experience to guide Griffin to the next level of business success." Kibler previously served as marketing director for the Environmental Health & Safety unit at Inficon, an East Syracuse, N.Y.-based developer, manufacturer and supplier of vacuum instrumentation, critical sensor technologies and process-control software. Kibler's sales and marketing career also includes stints with Hewlett-Packard, Varian Instruments and Antek Instruments. For the past 10 years, Kibler has served as president of the Gulf Coast Conference, which represents the interests of the chemical analysis community.
