Purdue Army ROTC cadets to participate in field exercise

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University Army ROTC cadets will participate in their fall field training exercise Friday through Sunday at Camp Atterbury, Ind.

The cadets will live in the field and train on such tasks as rifle marksmanship, land navigation or orienteering, a field leader's reaction course and a confidence course.

Throughout the weekend, junior cadets will assume different leadership positions where they will be evaluated and mentored by the senior cadets. The fall field training exercise will provide cadets with challenging training and help foster unit cohesion.
