Open house to showcase Butler International facility

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Butler International Inc. will showcase the company's new facility during an open house from 4-6 p.m. Thursday (July 14) in the Purdue Research Park's newly refurbished and renamed Ross Enterprise Center, 3495 Kent Ave.

Renovation of the former warehouse and manufacturing building, which now houses Butler's 11,000-square-foot Engineering and Technology Development Center, resulted from collaborative economic development incentive efforts by Purdue Research Foundation, the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette, the Lafayette/West Lafayette Economic Development Corp., and the state.

Journalists are invited to attend the event, which will include a facility tour preceded by comments from several speakers, including Edward M. Kopko, Butler's chairman and CEO; Mark F. Miller, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. vice president of research and engineering; Martin C. Jischke, Purdue University president; Joseph B. Hornett, Purdue Research Foundation senior vice president and treasurer; and Jan Mills, West Lafayette mayor.
