Dauch Alumni Center extends hours of operation

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – In order to accommodate more of Purdue University's alumni and friends, the recently dedicated Dick and Sandy Dauch Alumni Center will extend its hours of operation.

Visitors will have more opportunities to visit the center to see the new Boilermaker Special replica, as well as other interactive exhibits and displays, said J. Todd Coleman, executive director of the Purdue Alumni Association.

"We are so proud of the new center and want to make sure that we accommodate anyone wishing to visit or plan a meeting," Coleman said. "Our beautiful new center is designed to be a welcoming place where our old friends can gather, as well as a convenient meeting space for community organizations."

The new hours of operation are:

Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday (May 21) from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday (May 22) from noon to 5 p.m.

Saturday, June 4, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, June 5, from noon to 5 p.m.

Saturday, July 2, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, July 3, from noon to 5 p.m.

From Aug. 1 to Nov. 1, the center will be open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Special weekend hours will be in effect on home football game Saturdays from 8 a.m. to one hour prior to kickoff.

Groups or organizations wanting to use the facility should contact April Headdy, facility manager, at (765) 494-7753, aheaddy@purdue.edu. Rental charges and facility request forms also are available online.
