Bowling and billiards manufacturer contracts Cantilever to reduce overdue A/R

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Brunswick Bowling & Billiards has contracted Cantilever Technologies LLC, a Purdue Research Park software company, to implement a system that will improve its accounts receivable collections process.

"As part of the collections process, Brunswick's credit collections personnel allot a significant amount of time to pinpointing problematic accounts, and then deciding upon and taking remedial actions," said Julie Goonewardene, Cantilever's president and CEO. "Our software, the Readiness Engine(r), will help the company better respond to overdue A/R accounts and significantly reduce their Days Sales Outstanding."

Once an overdue account is detected, the Readiness Engine(r) automatically tracks all activities related to the account, and accelerates the collections process by prompting appropriate personnel based on a best-practices process. "This allows the credit department to resolve problem accounts and reconcile them to current collections activity and status more quickly and efficiently," Goonewardene said.
