Bob Dylan to perform Nov. 3 at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Musician Bob Dylan will perform at Purdue University's Elliott Hall of Music at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, as part of a tour of college campuses in October and November.

Presented by the Purdue Student Concert Committee, Dylan has performed more than 500 concerts and earned multiple Grammy Awards and an Academy Award. He most recently toured minor league baseball parks with country music legend Willie Nelson.

Since his debut album in 1962, Dylan has had nearly 50 albums over a career spanning five decades.

The "Boston Herald" wrote of a Dylan performance, "The sheer volume of hits, classics and masterpieces of the American songbook on display was simply astounding." The "New Haven Register" observed: "This is one of the great parts of being legend; you change up set lists at will and still pack them with hits."

Tickets are $29.50 to $39.50 and include a $2 facilities fee. Tickets go on sale to Purdue faculty, staff and students at campus box offices at 10 a.m. on Thursday (Sept. 23). Tickets go on sale to the general public at campus box offices and all Ticketmaster outlets at 10 a.m. on Friday (Sept. 24).
