May 11, 2004 Media availability on Friday for Sen. Richard LugarWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., will be available to take questions from reporters starting at 2 p.m. Friday (May 14) in Pfendler Hall, Room 120, on the Purdue University campus. Starting at 2:15 p.m., Lugar will tour the new Pfendler building and research laboratories. News media can accompany the senator on the tour. Lugar will be at Purdue to receive an honorary doctorate during graduation ceremonies at 2:30 p.m. Saturday (May 15). He was nominated for the honor by the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources in the School of Agriculture.
