'Michael Feldman’s Whad'Ya Know?' to broadcast live from Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Public Radio International's "Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?" will broadcast live from the Elliott Hall of Music at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28.

"Whad'Ya Know?" starring Michael Feldman, combines interviews with local celebrities, general knowledge quizzes, audience question and answer, music and comedy. The program broadcasts live every Saturday on more than 300 public radio station stations, reaching 1.5 million listeners. Feldman, whose career has included time as a teacher, newsletter delivery person, cab driver and morning radio show host, only takes his show on the road eight times a year.

The two-hour broadcast will focus on the Lafayette-West Lafayette community and Purdue University. Feldman will interview local celebrities and feature area businesses and organizations. The audience will have the opportunity to ask Feldman questions and participate in quizzes and contests.

Audience members must be seated by 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $18 to $28 and are on sale at any campus box office by calling (800) 914-SHOW or at any Ticketmaster outlet. For group ticket sales call (765) 494-9712.

"Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?" can be heard on WBAA 920AM on Saturdays at 2 p.m.
