PMO, Rotary Club performance benefits Habitat for Humanity

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Musical Organizations will join forces with the Lafayette Rotary Club to present "Singing for Greater Lafayette: A Celebration of Community to Benefit Habitat for Humanity," at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 24.

The show will be at the Long Center for the Performing Arts, 111 N. Sixth St., Lafayette. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity, which is raising funds to build a home in Lafayette and one in Haiti or Guatemala.

Tickets are on sale at the Long Center box office or by calling (765) 742-5664. Tickets are $30 and $50. Because this is a charity event, any ticket purchase amount exceeding $10 is tax deductible.

"PMO is proud and honored to partner with the Rotary Club to help provide a home for the community," said PMO director Brian Breed. "We look forward to teaming up with other local organizations in the future so our PMO singers have the opportunity to give back to the community."

The show will feature student members of the Varsity Glee Club, PMO Express, Purduettes, University Choir, Purdue Bell Choir and PMO Kids Choir.

Children ages 7-13 from 10 area schools will perform in the PMO Kids Choir. They are:
