TV, radio stations to air Christmas Show productionsWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The spirit, sights and songs of Purdue University Musical Organizations' acclaimed Christmas Show will be seen and heard on TV and radio stations across Indiana and the nation this holiday season. Public TV stations and other outlets are broadcasting a one-hour highlights program produced last year. Additionally, dozens of radio stations, mostly in Indiana, will broadcast a special one-hour production of this year's show. The new radio production will feature highlights recorded during the six live performances of the 66th annual Christmas Show, staged Dec. 10-12 in Elliott Hall of Music on Purdue's West Lafayette campus. Thousands of people from throughout the Midwest annually trek to campus to enjoy the performances in the 6,027-seat hall. A December tradition at Purdue since 1933, the Christmas Show features a spectrum of holiday songs and scenery that celebrates both the popular and religious aspects of the Christmas season.
