October 22, 1999 Extension staff earn tenure awardsWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Tenure award winners were recognized at the annual Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service Conference, Oct. 19-21 on Purdue's West Lafayette campus. Recipients of the 1999 U.S. Department of Agriculture Tenure Award are: Thirty years – Chris Bitler, Newton County; Maureen Cook, Miami County; Linda Garringer, Grant County; Gerald Harrison, Agricultural Economics, Edward Heckman, Wayne County; Lonnie Mason, Jefferson County; Beverly Morgan, Huntington County; Emily Remster, Porter County; William Scott Rumble, Tippecanoe County; and Daniel Stewart, East District.
