Native American performers to interact with publicWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Three members of Voices of Native America, in town for a Purdue University Convocations performance on Sunday, April 11, will visit two Greater Lafayette shops a day earlier to meet the public and explain their show.
Voices of Native America, a company of 35 singers, dancers, musicians and storytellers representing 15 different Native American nations, will perform at Elliott Hall of Music at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 11. The combination of large screen video, pounding drums, pyrotechnics, jingling dancer's feet, awe-inspiring stories, and a presentation of ancient tradition make for an afternoon of educational entertainment for the whole family.
