Krannert announces lineup for fall semester speaker's forum
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Diversity as a weapon for U.S. business, family-owned business
and entrepreneurship are just a few of the topics that will be covered by 13 business
professionals participating in Purdue University's Krannert Executive Forum this
semester.
While on campus, the executives will give a presentation, dine with students, meet
with faculty and staff, and tour teaching and research facilities.
The forum meets from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. each Friday in the Krannert Auditorium,
Krannert Building. Sessions are free and open to the public. Dates, speakers and
topics are:
- Sept. 5 -- Karen C. Vinjamuri, managing director, Partisan Management Group, Miami
Lakes, Fla. -- "Symbiosis: The Ultimate Entrepreneurial Experience."
- Sept. 12 -- Richard E. Dauch, president and chief executive officer, American Axle
& Manufacturing, Detroit -- "American Axle & Manufacturing: A Renaissance of Excellence
in Manufacturing."
- Sept. 19 -- William R. Litzler, chairman and president, C.A. Litzler Co. Inc., Cleveland
-- "Board of Advisors in a Family Business Succession."
- Sept. 26 -- Robert A. Oakley, executive vice president and chief financial officer,
Nationwide Insurance Enterprise, Columbus, Ohio -- "The Financial Services Revolution."
- Oct. 3 -- Joe W. Forehand Jr., managing partner, Americas Products, Andersen Consulting,
Dallas -- "Competing in the Global Economy."
- Oct. 10 -- Peter E. Geier, president and chief operating officer, The Huntington National
Bank, and vice chairman, Huntington Bancshares Inc., Columbus, Ohio -- "It's Not Banking
- Oct. 17 -- Anne Schowe, vice president systems software and engineering technologies,
