Convocations' new season an invitation to 'Get in on the act!'
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue University's Department of Convocations announced its
1997-98 season this week, offering more choices and lower prices for series and early
buyers. The season's theme is "Get in on the act!"
"Next season will be something truly special -- a performing arts feast celebrating
the best in chamber music, jazz, dance, opera, touring Broadway musicals, and much
more," said Lorna Myers, director of Purdue Convocations.
"It is our pleasure to invite everyone to experience the magic -- to be moved and thrilled
by what you encounter on our stages."
Ticket orders are being accepted at campus box offices or by phone at (765) 494-3933.
As always, Friends of Convocations' orders will be filled first.
