The three-minute features are produced by the Office of University Relations. The schedule of programs featured for the first half of the season follows.
Nov. 17 -- A look at how the Cooperative Extension Service addresses environmental, social and economic issues facing Hoosiers.
Nov. 24 -- The Purdue Anxiety Clinic in the Department of Psychological Sciences helps people suffering from trauma or undue stress.
Nov. 26 -- A new treadmill in the School of Veterinary Medicine helps diagnose problems in athletic horses.
Nov. 30 -- Two Purdue female student-pilots win the prestigious Air Race Classic.
Dec. 7 -- The School of Education's Distance Learning Initiative provides interactive video teleconferencing between students at Purdue Calumet and West Lafayette.
Dec. 14 -- A look at the innovative teaching styles of two faculty members in the Krannert School of Management.
Dec. 16 -- The Nutrition, Fitness and Health program in the Department of Foods and Nutrition offers nutrition and fitness assessments while giving students hands-on experience.
Jan. 2 -- Fighting cancer with a "Trojan horse" in the School of Science.
Purdue basketball games are seen on WEVV-TV Evansville, WANE-TV Fort Wayne, WTTV-TV Indianapolis, WLFI-TV Lafayette, WYIN-TV Merrillville and WHME-TV South Bend.
Producers of the segments are Ray Cubberley, assistant director of university relations for broadcast services, and Connie Ostler, producer/director. Dan Skinner, manager of radio station WBAA, narrates the features.
