Professor Emeritus Derek Davenport will give a brief biographical sketch of Michael Faraday, one of the great experimentalists. Paul E. Smith, director of lecture demonstrations for the Department of Chemistry, will act as Faraday. "Faraday" will conduct experiments with flammable gases and flammable substances.
