Lt. Gov. to visit Purdue's West Lafayette campus Friday

Lt. Gov. Kathy Davis on Friday (12/12) will be available to speak with media during a visit Purdue University's West Lafayette campus and the Purdue Research Park.

Davis and Purdue President Martin C. Jischke will talk with media from 1:45-2:15 p.m. in the president's office are in Hovde Hall.

Prior to being confirmed in October as the state's first woman lieutenant governor, Davis was deputy commissioner of the Indiana Department of Transportation, state budget director under former Gov. Evan Bayh, secretary for the Family and Social Services Administration under the late Gov. Frank O'Bannon and was controller for the city of Indianapolis. In 1999 she also managed the start-up of the Indiana 21st Century Research and Technology Fund.
