December 9, 2003, Purdue education honor society recognizedWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue University Eta Chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education recently was recognized for outstanding creative programming and superior chapter operations at the biennial convocation in St. Louis. Chapter officers who attended the convocation include: Paul Rusin, chapter president from Darien, Ill. Alison Shields, vice president of membership from Wilmette, Ill. Jillian Shearhod, secretary from Valparaiso, Ind. Wendy Cripe, treasurer from Nappanee, Ind. Cheryl Grady, technology coordinator from North Webster, Ind. Gerald H. Krockover, faculty adviser and professor of science education, joined the group. The chapter officers also made a presentation regarding personalizing officer development. Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education is dedicated to recognizing outstanding scholarship and excellence in education among all teacher education majors from 22 academic areas at Purdue University.
