Jischke campus safety show on WBAA rescheduled for Nov. 12

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –Purdue University President Martin C. Jischke's appearance on WBAA radio's "AM920 Magazine" to discuss campus safety has been rescheduled to 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday (11/12). The show was to have aired today (Wednesday, 11/5).

"President Jischke will explain some of Purdue's programs designed to ensure and improve the safety of students, faculty and staff on campus," says WBAA manager Dan Skinner. "He will also discuss the role each individual plays in keeping the campus safe from crime and will touch on the need to maintain a balance between security and freedom."

WBAA listeners will have the opportunity to call in questions during the show. Listeners may call in questions at (765) 496-1999 or toll-free at (866) 922-2101.

The station's AM signal reaches about two-thirds of Indiana and is heard globally via the Internet.
