News Conference on Indiana Soybean Board/Purdue University partnership

Purdue University's School of Agriculture and the Indiana Soybean Board on Tuesday (11/11) will announce a partnership that will lead to expanded research on value-added products from soybeans. The news conference begins at 11 a.m. in the Pilot Processing Plant, Room 1135, in the Food Science Building on the West Lafayette, Ind., campus.

Products already developed from the renewable resource of soybeans include foods, fuels and other goods normally made from petroleum materials. This partnership will expand opportunities for the university, industry and soybean producers.

Parking will be available behind the Food Science Building. For more information, contact Beth Forbes at (765) 494-2722, forbes@purdue.edu.
