President Jischke to discuss studying abroad on next radio show

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue President Martin C. Jischke will discuss the university's study abroad programs from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, during his live call-in radio show on WBAA's "AM920 Magazine."

Jischke will talk about what opportunities are available to study abroad and why students should take advantage of them.

Listeners will have the opportunity to ask questions during the show. Local listeners can call (765) 496-1999. Listeners outside the local calling area can call toll-free at (866) 922-2101.

"More than 200 programs for studying abroad in 45 countries are available for Purdue students," WBAA manager Dan Skinner said. "Nearly 700 Purdue University students studied abroad last year. For them, it has been an unforgettable experience. Purdue is committed to making the same opportunities available this year for hundreds more students."

The station's AM signal reaches approximately two-thirds of Indiana and may be heard globally via the station's Web site .
