Date changes for next President Jischke radio show on WBAA

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The date has been changed for Purdue President Martin C. Jischke’s next call-in radio show on WBAA’s "AM920 Magazine."

The live show, in which the president will provide an update on construction projects on the West Lafayette campus, will air from 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20. The show was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Dan Skinner, WBAA Radio manager, says listeners can talk with the president about several projects that are under way.

"From the almost finished Jerry S. Rawls Hall to the Visual and Performing Arts Building, the Dick and Sandy Dauch Alumni Center, the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship and the Birck Nanotechnology Center, Purdue will benefit from several new, state-of-the-art buildings," Skinner says. "Renovations to Cary Quadrangle, various dining halls and construction of a new large-scale civil engineering laboratory also are under way. Listeners will find out when construction will be complete on these projects and when ground will be broken on other projects supported by Purdue's capital campaign."

Local listeners can call (765) 496-1999 to ask questions, and those outside the local calling area can call toll-free at (866) 922-2101.

The station's AM signal reaches approximately two-thirds of Indiana and can be heard globally via the station's Web site. The Web site also provides toll-free dialing instructions for listeners outside the United States and Canada.
