School of Liberal Arts honors outstanding seniors

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue University School of Liberal Arts has recognized 13 students with an Outstanding Senior Award.

The students are:

• Le' Ann D. Scott, an audiology and speech sciences major from Gary, Ind.

• Monika K. Jedrejek, a communication major from Niles, Ill.

• Alejandro Mendoza, an economics major from Bogota, Columbia.

• Aisha Peay, an English major from Pittsburgh, Pa.

• Krista M. Paradiso, a foreign languages and literatures major from Carmel, Ind.

• Kristin M. Alexy, a health and kinesiology major from Jacksonville, Ala.

• Alexa VanDeGrift, a history major from Westland, Mich.

• Jennifer C. Tonsing, an interdisciplinary studies major from Wolcottville, Ind.

• Sarah Raskin, a philosophy major from West Lafayette, Ind.

• Brandi L. Bennett, a political science major from Monterey, Ind.

• Kari A. Terzino, a psychological sciences major from Mill Creek, Ind.

• Elizabeeth Berndt, a sociology major from Bremen, Ind.

• Mark Davis, a visual and performing arts major from Muncie, Ind.

The students were selected based upon academic success, commitment to their major, leadership ability and ability to balance their academic load with extracurricular activities or a job.
