May 14, 2003 Farm Management Tour Media Day On June 3 media will have the chance to participate in a special Farm Management Tour. The tour will take place in Putnam and Montgomery counties. The operators will give a presentation for media, which will give news reporters a chance to write advance stories about the public tour on July 9-10. Purdue University vans will leave from the Krannert Building dock at 6:30 a.m. Reporters who want to ride in a van should contact Sandy Dottle at (765) 494-4248. The Putnam County locations and times for media day are: • 8:30 a.m. White Oak Farms, 5008 E. State Road 42, Cloverdale. • 9:45 a.m. McCammack Farms, 6447 S. County Road 825 E., Cloverdale. • 11 a.m. Legan Livestock and Grain, 1144 W. County Road 750 E., Coatesville. • 12:15 p.m. Lunch at the Putnam Inn in Greencastle. The Montgomery County locations and times for media day are: • 2 p.m. Cain's Homelike Farm, Route 1, Darlington. • 3:30 p.m. Sennett Cattle Company, Route 1 Waynetown.
