Purdue e-Enterprise Center to host technology conference

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The e-Enterprise Center at Purdue University's Discovery Park is hosting a conference called Energizing the Enterprise: Technology Connecting Science, Manufacturing and Service on Wednesday and Thursday (5/14-15).

Ned Howell, managing director of the e-Enterprise Center, said the conference will be of interest to a wide range of people who want to know what Purdue is doing in the e-enterprise area or want to find out more about the state of e-commerce in business and using the new technology in government.

The afternoon session, from 1-3 p.m. in the union's South Ballroom, will feature three speakers from industry: Ed Buckley, United Parcel Service Inc. vice president of brand management customer communications, will speak on "Strategies for Synchronizing Technology with Commerce and the Supply Chain."
