Rube Goldberg teams to compete in nationals

The 15th annual Theta Tau Fraternity's National Rube Goldberg Machine Contest on Saturday (4/12) will test the can-do spirit of college engineers.

Photographs, video and audio will be available for journalists covering the contest. The Purdue University News Service also will distribute a release that day announcing the winner.

Television media:

Highlights from the National Rube Goldberg Machine Contest will be available Saturday (4/12) via satellite from 4:30-5 p.m. Please note that Indiana time does not change, so if you are adjusting your clocks to EST, please notify your uplink engineer of the possible time difference.

The satellite feed, in addition to Rube Goldberg, also will include highlights from Purdue's Spring Fest, including Bug Bowl, with footage such as children and adults participating in cricket spitting, cockroach racing, an insect petting zoo and more.
