Rube Goldberg Machine Contest

Photographs, video and audio will be available for journalists covering the National Rube Goldberg Machine Contest on April 12. The News Service also will distribute a release that day announcing the winner of the contest.

Photographs from the National Rube Goldberg Machine Contest will be available at 4 p.m. on April 12. Contact Amy Patterson-Neubert, (765) 494-9723 or apatterson@purdue.edu, with any questions about photos. A broadcast-quality audio clip also will be available.

Television Media:

Highlights from the National Rube Goldberg Machine Contest will be available April 12 via satellite 4:30-5 p.m. (which includes most of Indiana). Please note that Indiana time does not change, so if you are adjusting your clocks to EST, please notify your uplink engineer of the possible time difference.

The satellite feed, in addition to Rube Goldberg, also will include highlights from Purdue's Spring Fest, including Bug Bowl, with footage such as children and adults participating in cricket spitting, cockroach racing, tree climbing, as well as an insect petting zoo, a pedal-tractor obstacle course, a mini-rocket launch and more.
