Purdue to provide satellite feed for $200 million scholarship campaign launch

Purdue University on Thursday (4/3) will announce the largest scholarship campaign in the university's history. The announcement will take place at 11:45 a.m. in the Buchanan Club at the Ross-Ade Stadium Pavilion.

Part of the announcement will include the new Purdue Opportunity Awards program, which will benefit one student in each of Indiana's 92 counties. The program is unique to Indiana — with only one other similar program existing in the nation.

The scholarship campaign is a facet of the $1.3 billion Campaign for Purdue announced last fall.

A satellite uplink of announcement highlights will be available from 3:30-3:45 p.m.
