February 20, 2003 Busch Gardens Animal Adventure Club coming to Purdue WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine's Exotic Animal Club has arranged for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to bring their Animal Adventure Caravan to Purdue on Tuesday (Feb. 25). Animal lovers can visit the caravan from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Purdue Armory. The caravan will bring a Serval, a small African cat; a baby Nile crocodile; a prehensile tailed porcupine; and a white cockatoo. Busch Garden zookeepers will be on hand to answer questions about these exotic animals. Prior to the public event at the armory, Busch Gardens zookeepers and the animals will meet with Purdue students at the School of Veterinary Medicine.
