(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., February 6, 2003) – The Central Indiana Life Sciences Initiative was formed a year ago with a bold vision for the region – leverage assets like our universities and industry leaders like Eli Lilly and Company and Dow AgroSciences LLC to become a national life sciences hub.

Find out how we've progressed over the past year and what's in store for the future at the Life Sciences Initiative's first anniversary VIP breakfast at Dow AgroSciences. Representatives from the Initiative's founding organizations will discuss progress, including Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson, Indiana University Interim President Gerald Bepko, Purdue University President Martin C. Jischke, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership President David Goodrich, and the Indiana Health Industry Forum President Wade Lange. Representatives from the Initiative's corporate partners (i.e. Eli Lilly and Company) will also be present.

The VIP breakfast is open to the media, and press availability will be held immediately following the program. Due to Dow AgroSciences security requirements, please RSVP the names, titles and organization of attendees to Jenny Cebalo at CVR/MARC no later than Tuesday, Feb. 11.
