Study abroad application deadline approaching

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University students planning to participate in university-sponsored international study programs during the upcoming spring semester have until Tuesday (10/1) to apply.

Study abroad programs are available to students in every major and include opportunities in more the 40 countries in Western and Eastern Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia, and Latin and South America. Program options include the entire academic year, a semester or summer session. There are three types of study abroad programs, including a direct exchange with universities overseas or a co-sponsorship that is arranged through an outside organization.

Students can apply online or can pick up an application at the Study Abroad Office in Young Graduate House. The deadline to apply for scholarships is Oct. 15.

For more information, students can attend weekly general information sessions, which are from 3:30-4:20 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Study Abroad Office in Young Graduate House, Room 105.
