August 21, 2002 Purdue awards scholarships to students from Perry CountyWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Four students from Perry County have been awarded scholarships from Purdue University. Daniel E. Warner, a sophomore from Tell City who is majoring in wood products manufacturing, received the Hafele-Stinson Agriculture Scholarship. Its value is $1,780. Keith E. James, a sophomore from Branchville who is majoring in computer graphics, received the Hafele-Stinson Purdue University Scholarship. Its value is $1,000. Samuel Rothgerber, a sophomore from Tell City who is majoring in computer engineering, received the Hafele-Stinson Purdue University Engineering Scholarship. Its value is $1,000. Jason T. Little Owl, a senior management major from Tell City, received the Hafele-Stinson Purdue University Scholarship. Its value is $1,000. The scholarships were awarded to Perry County residents who demonstrated academic merit and financial need.
