July 15, 2002 Students from Elkhart receive Purdue scholarshipsWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Six students from Elkhart, Ind. recently were awarded Clinton and Lucille Hartman scholarships by Purdue University. The students are: Holly Marie Blessing, a freshman majoring in veterinary science, Joshua G. Crain, a freshman majoring in communications and history, Bradley J. Landa, a freshman majoring in electrical engineering, Jocelyn G. Mackling, a freshman majoring in nursing, Jarad Allen Shannon, a freshman majoring in computer science and Amber Ann Grosser, a freshman majoring in environmental science. The scholarships, worth $3245, were established by Clinton and Lucille Hartman to support Purdue students who attended high schools in the Elkhart, Ind. area.
