July 5, 2002 Purdue Department of Computer Science awards scholarshipsWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue University Department of Computer Science has issued scholarships to seven students who will be freshmen in the fall. James Patrick Rodovich of Hammond, Ind., received the Guidant Foundation Scholarship worth $5,000. Bess Linden Walker of Columbia, Mo., received the computer sciences undergraduate scholarship worth four years of tuition and the $10,000 Friends of Computer Science Scholarship. Five students received a Corporate Partner's Scholarship worth $1,000. The students are: Lee Ballard of Fort Wayne, Ind. Neil Nathan Fifield of Endicott, Ind. Forrest S.
