'Bad' dogs needed for behavior modification course

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue Animal Behavior Clinic is seeking dogs with behavior problems to participate in a June 8-9 practicum for dog trainers and veterinary professionals.

The practicum is a component of the School of Veterinary Medicine's DOGS! course on principles and techniques of behavior modification. Participants will apply the theory, training and behavior modification techniques they have learned in the classroom while working with the volunteer dogs.

Sessions are scheduled on June 8 from 2:45-6 p.m. and on June 9 from 8:45 a.m. to noon. Owners who are interested in having their pets participate can learn more about the practicum at the Animal Behavior Clinic's Web site.
