–  The Procter & Gamble Fund's 2002 Curriculum Development Grant Program has awarded Jan P. Allebach, Purdue University School of Electrical and Computer Engineering professor, $150,000 to design an elective course on mobile communications. Allebach's students will work in teams to plan and design uses of these technologies and develop working prototypes. The elective course will reach 100 juniors and seniors annually, beginning in August. In the past 10 years, the P&G Fund has given more than $135 million to education-related programs.
