Purdue College of Engineering researcher Zoltan Nagy, the Arvind Varma Professor in the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering, has launched a project, sponsored by Redwire, to the International Space Station that will explore the potential of the microgravity environment to optimize pharmaceutical crystal formation, including cancer therapeutics. By utilizing microgravity, his study aims to enhance crystal quality, uniformity and polymorphic (structure variation) control, thereby improving drug efficacy and stability.
The Purdue Contemporary Dance Company will premiere seven new works at Winter Dance Works 2025 on Friday and Saturday (Dec. 12-13). Created by faculty, student artists and a PCDC alum, the pieces feature original choreography, sound design and lighting developed collaboratively throughout the semester, showcasing the immersive, interdisciplinary work of students across the Department of Theatre and Dance.
