Purdue has announced a series of new degrees, a synergistic faculty recruitment initiative in advanced chemistry, and a learning and training center in Eli Lilly and Company’s new Medicine Foundry on the LEAP Research and Innovation District, all of which underscore the university’s commitment to the One Health Initiative — a bold vision of uniting research and innovation across human, animal and plant health.
On April 25, volunteers planted perennials and trees and also mulched around Lynn Hall, the Arthur G. Hansen Life Sciences Research Building, Memorial Mall and other locations near Mitch Daniels Boulevard as part of the spring 2025 Purdue Day of Service. Volunteers have planted 924 trees in the history of this event, which is hosted by Purdue in partnership with the Purdue for Life Foundation.
Purdue is proud to announce it has been awarded a Platinum 2025 Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America. MHA is the nation’s leading nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental health, well-being and illness prevention. Its work is informed, designed and led by the lived experience of those most affected. The Bell Seal is a first-of-its-kind workplace mental health certification recognizing employers striving to create mentally healthy workplaces for their employees.
