Patent-pending imaging technologies created in Purdue University’s College of Engineering could be developed and commercialized for applications as diverse as medical imaging, autonomous navigation, surveillance, microscopy and advanced manufacturing.
Nicole Richardson Hicks, a 2021 Purdue Global alumna and the keynote speaker at Saturday’s (May 3) commencement ceremonies, shared her message to 2,654 graduates — 1,830 in person and 824 participating in two virtual ceremonies, a record high for a Purdue Global commencement weekend. Purdue University, the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation and the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Education will hold the “Making Medicines in America” summit Wednesday (May 7) in Washington, D.C. Top leaders in AI, pharmaceutical manufacturing and public policy will discuss steps the United States must take to lead in next-generation drug manufacturing.
