In Print: ‘Fundamental Food Microbiology’
The COVID-19 pandemic, along with continual routine outbreaks of traditional foodborne pathogens, has largely fueled the growth of food microbiology in the last decade. “Fundamental Food Microbiology,” a textbook co-authored by Arun Bhunia, professor of food microbiology and comparative pathobiology (courtesy), is a comprehensive introductory text for undergraduates and a valuable reference for graduate-level and working professionals in food microbiology, food safety or food technology.

Inaugural SEMIEXPO Heartland event underscores Midwestern U.S. as a global hub for smart manufacturing and smart mobility
The inaugural SEMIEXPO Heartland event welcomed leaders in smart mobility and smart manufacturing to the Indiana Convention Center to explore opportunities for collaboration across both disciplines. With 70 booths comprised of 50 exhibiting companies and more than 1,100 registered attendees between April 1-2, the event served as a testament to the growth of the Midwestern U.S. as a key region in the global semiconductor ecosystem.
