University of Chicago professor Lars Hansen, 2013 Nobel laureate in economic sciences, to highlight Purdue Presidential Lecture on Oct. 17
Nobel laureate Lars Peter Hansen, an expert at the forefront of economic thinking and asset-price modeling, will join Purdue President Mung Chiang for the next edition of the Presidential Lecture Series. Hansen’s talk, titled “Uncertainty in Our Scientific Inputs Into Policy: Disguise It or Embrace It?” is at 6 p.m. Oct. 17.

Purdue Global to celebrate accomplishments of record number of graduates at commencement Saturday
Purdue Global, Purdue’s online university for working adults, will host commencement ceremonies on Purdue University’s West Lafayette campus Saturday (Oct. 5) for nearly 1,500 in-person graduates and 764 graduates participating in virtual ceremonies — a record high for a Purdue Global commencement weekend.
