The key to fighting viruses: Understanding their structure is vital to unlock a healthy future for humanity
A new grant co-led by Richard Kuhn, the Trent and Judith Anderson Distinguished Professor of Science and the Krenicki Family Director of the Purdue Institute of Inflammation, Immunology and Infectious Disease, takes aim at vaccines for emerging tick- and mosquito-borne viruses, including West Nile and dengue fever.

Seven faculty from Purdue University’s West Lafayette campus and one from Purdue Northwest have been named 2024-25 Fulbright U.S. Scholars. The Fulbright Scholar Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and those in other countries.
