Purdue applicant number and yield rate at unprecedented levels: Demand for Purdue undergraduate and graduate education sets records
Purdue University’s laser focus on excellence and affordability once again has translated into record enrollment numbers for the fall 2024 semester, as increasing demand for a Purdue education set new records in applicant numbers and produced a yield rate — of prospective new students accepting their offers — significantly higher than it has been in a decade.

Purdue and Argonne sign MOU to collaborate on chips, quantum and other key research areas 
Leaders from Purdue University and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory signed a memorandum of understanding Monday (Sept. 9) to promote collaborative research in areas of common scientific and technical interests including microelectronics, quantum information science, materials science, nuclear science and engineering, computing, and energy storage materials and recycling.

Through collaboration and partnership with academics, industry, government and other organizations, Purdue teams at TASI conduct world-class research in connected and autonomous vehicles and intelligent transportation systems, driving innovation through safety discoveries.

Save the date: Purdue United Way 2024 campaign kicks off Sept. 24
A campuswide kickoff of the 2024 Purdue United Way campaign will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Purdue Mall. Along with members of the campaign team, Purdue Pete, the Golduster Dance Team and the Boilermaker Xtra Special will join the celebration. All donations will go directly to the university's campaign.
