‘Sweatin’ to the (Black and) Goldies’: Purdue Pete assists health and kinesiology researchers to produce exercise videos for kids’ fitness, mindfulness
Purdue Pete is no stranger to getting people up and moving. So it was a natural fit for Pete to get in front of the cameras for exercise and mindfulness videos aimed at 10- to 12-year-olds. Soon to be distributed to different schools in the state of Indiana for research purposes, the videos were produced by Alvin Kao, assistant professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology, and PhD student Riley Schellingerhout.
