President Mung Chiang and Purdue Convocations will host an exclusive free Presidential Lecture Series event featuring cellist Yo-Yo Ma on Sept. 29 at Elliott Hall of Music, moderated by PBS NewsHour's Jeffrey Brown. Over the summer, faculty and students from the Department of Health and Kinesiology conducted metabolic testing for 11 Purdue wrestlers in collaboration with the team’s strength and conditioning coach and team dietitian. The tests — VO2 max testing and resting metabolic rate — work in concert with the athlete’s exercise and eating plans.
