Analytics organization names Purdue University safest college in America
Purdue University’s persistent pursuit to prioritize the safety of the campus community is reflected in a new national ranking by Academic Influence that names Purdue America’s safest college. Academic Influence, an organization consisting of academics and data scientists, lists Purdue as No. 1 on its list of the 15 safest colleges.

Purdue wins back-to-back Big Ten championships
Zach Edey had 32 points and 11 rebounds, Braden Smith added 23 points and nine boards, and No. 2 Purdue beat Michigan State 80-74 on Saturday night to clinch a share of the Big Ten regular-season championship. Gold confetti fell from the Mackey Arena rafters as Purdue celebrated its conference-best 26th title.

Reminder: Former Catholic Relief Services CEO to join President Chiang for Presidential Lecture Series event
Purdue alumna Carolyn Woo, who served as CEO of Catholic Relief Services from 2012-16, will join Purdue President Mung Chiang Tuesday (March 5) for a conversation as part of Purdue’s Presidential Lecture Series. The public event is at 5 p.m. in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall. While the lecture is free, a general admission ticket will be required.
